Community Sessions - Designing Your onboarding Program

We will meet in weekly community sessions where we will either practice together different frameworks, listen to stories from experts in residence and ask questions or share our know-how using Intervision. Depending on their purpose, community sessions can last from 1 to 2 hours. You can find the full schedule below, together with the recordings which we will upload on-going. 👇

Community Session #1: Get to know each other

Monday April 4th + 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM EET

A nice get together, where we meet for the first time, and learn more about each other. Its purpose is to ensure the psychological safety we need to make the most out of this learning journey.

Community Session #2: Practice Session

Monday April 11th + 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM EET

What do you need to consider when designing an onboarding program? Which might be the factors that influence the performance of such a program? What tools can we use to analyze the current state of our programs & processes? We’ll answer all these questions in our first practice session.

Community Session #3: Fireside Chat: Jessica Baker

Monday April 18th + 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM EET

With years of experience in both product & people ops, Jessica will offer us some insights into how we can apply design thinking & product methodologies when building our onboarding program.

Community Session #4: Fireside Chat: Emily Armando & Alex Hilleary

Monday April 25th + 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM EET

What tools & frameworks can we use to address the needs of our new hires? Emily & Alex worked with dozens of companies looking to improve their onboarding processes, so they will join us to share their knowledge and experiences.

Community Session #5: Intervision Session

Monday May 2nd + 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM EET

In this session, we learned how to use the intervision framework as a social learning tool, while also finding solutions for our onboarding challenges.

Community Session #6: Practice Session

Monday May 9th + 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM EET

This session was a combination of a recap of everything we learned so far and an introduction into using roadmaps to plan the onboarding implementation.

Community Session #8: Practice Session

How can we build an onboarding dashboard that helps us track the health and impact of our process? This session was all about onboarding KPIs & dashboards.
