At Gather, we believe onboarding is the cornerstone to a great employee experience. That's why we spend more time helping teams with onboarding compared to any other moment in the employee lifecycle. In the past few of years, we’ve consulted with hundreds of fast-scaling teams to help them design thoughtful onboarding experiences that go beyond just a checklist.
Jessica’s path to People Operations is anything but traditional, and that’s just how she likes it.
What started out as a personal quest early in her career to lead with her strengths and bring more purpose to her work led her to discover what she calls her life’s work as a Workplace Rebel - bringing unconventional thinking and ways of working to the world of work.
Early on this was realized through her broad Business Transformation work and then People Operations, and now manifests into many roles she loves to play as a Coach, an Advisor, a Speaker, and soon-to-be Author. Allowing her to be truly mission-driven and help “people-people” develop a special set of skills that will help them lead differently, change the HR/People space, and build better workplaces.
Jessica is known for her Progressive People Leadership Model and most notably pushing the boundaries of product thinking by reframing the Workplace As A Product in addition to her advocacy for non-traditional career management.
In addition to her time spent in People Operations, for almost 13 years Jessica worked with and within start-ups, enterprises, and everything in between as a strategy advisor to c-suite leaders on marketing, product management, and customer experience as well as served as Chief of Staff at a top-tier U.S. bank.
When she’s not working, you can find Jessica spending time in the gym, recreating something from Food & Wine mag, or with her 2 boys (#BoyMom) and her husband boating.
